This is the best bakery in the area. I bought pastries here every single day during my week here on vacation. They did not disappoint! It is located across the Square from Hotel Duque De Najera and the prices are low.
This is the perfect spot to purchase sweet pastries to eat on the square, bring to the boardwalk or home. Everything is yummy, so be sure to treat yourself!
The best bakery, pastry, dessert shop in Cádiz! I never learned the names of Spanish desserts, but over the course of my five years in Rota, I tried every dessert they make, including the ones they only make on holidays, and they are all divine! If, during your travels, you find yourself within a five hour drive of Rota, drive down and sample these delectable desserts. You'll thank me later.

The lady was really nice and patient and accomidating. Had a wide variety of beautiful pastries. I highly encourage to check it out or stop by.

Conocemos la confiteria desde sus inicios cuando tenía un local cerca de la plaza de las canteras (años antes del 2000) y la calidad de los pasteles y el sabor sigue siendo el mismo con el paso de los años.
Las tartaletas tienen un punto de cocción exquisito y la crema interior en su punto justo de dulzor. No hay una fruta en los pasteles que haya probado que esté mala, ni poco ni demasiado madura, o un bizcocho demasiado seco.
Tienen una buena variedad de pasteles para todos loa gustos, aunque en lo relativo a la carta para intolerantes aún no han llegado a cubrir esa demanda, pero tienen la información actualizada de alérgenos al respecto.

We've known this bakery since its beginnings, when it had a location near Plaza de las Canteras (years before 2000), and the quality of the cakes and their flavor have remained the same over the years. The tartlets are exquisitely baked, and the cream inside is just the right amount of sweetness. I haven't had a single piece of fruit in any of the cakes that was bad, neither under-ripe nor over-ripe, nor a sponge cake that was too dry. They have a good variety of cakes to suit all tastes, although they haven't yet met that demand for their allergen-intolerant menu, but they do have updated allergen information. They're adding a new offering to the menu, which we'll have to try again in the near future.
Paseando cerca del castillo de luna encontramos está pastelería. Con medidas covid perfectas y unos pasteles de infarto sin duda un paseo por Rota no puede pasar sin una visita recomiendo el mayetito que es el dulce chiquitito que evoca a los dulces árabes con sabor a canela jugoso y mojadito.
